Iron Infusion Referral Process

Bailey IV Plus offers safe and effective iron infusions in the comfort of a client’s home. Our streamlined process ensures minimal effort for both patients and healthcare providers, making it easier for clinics to support their patients’ iron therapy needs.

Bailey IV Plus is unable to provide a prescription for iron infusions at this time. However, please see below for further information on how to book an iron infusion.

1️⃣ Prescription Required – Your GP or specialist must provide you with a prescription for the iron infusion.

Example Prescription Requirements: Iron Supplement Name (e.g. Ferinject, Monofer, or Venofer)
Dosage (e.g. 1000mg iron in 250mL sodium chloride 0.9%)
Dilution Fluid (e.g. Normal Saline 250mL)
Administration Instructions (e.g. Infuse over 15-30 minutes)

2️⃣ Send a Copy of the Prescription – Email a copy of the prescription details to bailey_iv@outlook.com (a referral is not required but appreciated especially for patients who are pregnant). Or the client can upload a picture of their prescription when making a booking online.
3️⃣ Bailey IV+ will Contact the Client – I will reach out to schedule a convenient home visit for the infusion, if your GP or Specialist has emailed your prescription/referral. Alternatively, the client can make a booking directly with Bailey IV Plus via the booking link below.
4️⃣Patient Supplies the Iron – Clients obtain their prescribed iron from a pharmacy before the appointment. Bailey IV Plus supplies all other consumables required including the fluid.

Ferinject Infusion – approx. $170 per session Prices include nurse administration and home visit.
